Now you have your image in the database. To use GeoDMA for classification, you need to have Cells or Polygons. To generate Polygons, you can use GeoDMA for image segmentation. Click Plugins, Data Mining and GeoDMA. When GeoDMA's first window appears, click on Need Segmentation? button.

GeoDMA presents two algorithms for image segmentation, Region Growing and the implementation from Baatz and Shape. Select the image to perform segmentation, chose the parameters and click OK. GeoDMA will create one View in the main window, with your image and the generated polygons as new Themes.

Every generated polygon has one line in your database. When you click on some line in the table (bottom of the window), the corresponding polygon is highlighted in the main window.

That's it! Now you have your segmentation done!
